Alison officially joined the GUP board in 2015. She is a native of Sioux Falls, SD and has lived in Grand Forks since 2005. Alison grew up running, swimming, and cycling, so it was a no-brainer to connect with ENDracing, GUP's sister organization, in 2007. Over the past 10 years, Alison has volunteered for, competed in, or directed several of ENDracing's endurance events. After GUP formed in 2011, Alison served as a coach for the youth climbing club and the summer adventure camp for several years. When not involved with GUP or ENDracing, Alison works as a professor at UND and continues to adventure with her husband, dog, and two children.
